What are the benefits of Double Ended bulbs?
1. Double Ended HPS bulbs degrade slower than traditional single ended HPS bulbs. In fact, after 10,000 hours double ended lamps will still output approximately 90% of their original intensity.
2. Double Ended HPS bulbs are more stable than traditional single ended HPS bulbs, and this allows them to have a 10% increase in light intensity and PAR output over traditional single ended HPS bulbs.
3. Double Ended HPS bulbs emit more UV and IR light than traditional single ended HPS bulbs, increasing the potency and essential oils of oil producing plants.

Unlike the standard DE1000W, the OG DE1000W is fan-cooled exactly like our bestselling OG1000W. By replacing the aluminum enclosure with a durable powder coated steel enclosure, NanoLux were able to make a complete DE fixture that weighs less and costs less that our original DE1000W. This makes the OG DE1000W the optimal choice for small scale growers that want all the benefits of DE lighting technology, for less cost. Reduced weight of the fixture makes the OG DE1000W ideal for hanging in grow tents. The OG DE1000W is compatible with both NCCS and 0-10V controllers and uses 97% German reflective reflector material. Comes with random start, soft start, and soft dimming capabilities.

The Gavita Pro 1000 DE Complete Fixture includes both a double-ended reflector with bulb and a 1000w electronic ballast in one package. Gavita ballasts run at cooler temperatures than the competition and are made with the highest quality components. The ballast is the first to power the professional Philips GreenPower 1000W EL double-ended bulb. This type of bulb is connected to the reflector at both ends, eliminating the need for a frame wire inside the lamp. Without this wire, there is no corresponding shadow, meaning the light is brighter and more effective. These lamps have the highest light output, an improved spectrum and produce the best light maintenance of any other light bulb. The reflector itself is made from high-quality MIRO aluminum and works with 96% reflective efficiency. There are no moving parts within the housings, so maintenance is simple and easy.
